About Us
Ancora Fish specializes in the processing of pelagic fish. We are located in the port of Ribeira, A Coruña, Galicia, and we operate daily in the main fish markets along the Cantabrian coast.
We have more than 30 years of experience in the fishing sector, covering the entire value chain: agreements with fishing vessels, purchasing, processing and freezing of fish, and quality supervision until obtaining the final product.
Also, We work in close collaboration with two processing plants in Morocco, supported by our own on‑site team that conducts thorough inspections of all incoming raw material. Our ability to purchase large volumes allows us to secure highly competitive pricing while maintaining strict quality control and traceability.
The main products we handle in Morocco include:
- Sardine (Sardina pilchardus)
- Atlantic chub mackerel (Scomber colias)
- Atlantic bonito (Sarda sarda)
- Frigate tuna / Melva (Auxis thazard)
All our fish come from sustainable sources, supported by responsible fishing practices that protect the marine ecosystem and species populations.
